Rotaract Club Chandigarh Himalayan, under District 3080 and guidance of DRR Samir Madan, organised a week long campaign “Annapurna” in association with Robin Hood Army. The drive begun from 01st July and ended on 07thJuly 2020. The club distributed ration to over 1000+ people across Tricity, at Daria, Railway Station, Sector 51 (Chandigarh), Sector 34 (Chandigarh), Airport Road & parts of Panchkula.
The club members took this campaign to both the field and social media with a motive of bringing smiles on the faces of people in search of food and also to spread awareness related to hunger and nutrition.
The week long event enabled the club to spread hope and positivity in the lives of such people by giving a day free of struggles to collect their day to day meals.
