Chandigarh: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Chandigarh celebrated Diwali Milan with great enthusiasm and festive spirit at the Shaheed Udham Singh Memorial Building in Sector 44, Chandigarh, on the auspicious occasion of Diwali.

AAP Chandigarh In-charge Jarnail Singh attended the event as the Chief Guest. Also present on the occasion were State President Vijay Pal Singh, Prem Garg, Hardeep Singh, Deepa Dubey, Kuldeep Kumar, Yogesh Dhingra, Anju Katyal, Jaswinder, Meena Sharma, Omkar Aulakh and several other senior party leaders, office-bearers and booth-level workers, along with their families.

Extending Diwali greetings to all party leaders and workers, Jarnail Singh said that the real strength of the party lies in its dedicated workers. He urged everyone to work together with mutual coordination, unity and a spirit of brotherhood to further strengthen the organisation.

He further said that just as party workers had come together today as one family to celebrate Diwali, they would gather again with the same enthusiasm in January when AAP forms its Mayor with a majority in Chandigarh. He added that a grand workers’ gathering would be organised on that occasion.

Senior leaders and workers from across the organisation, including booth-level workers, participated in the celebration along with their families. Everyone exchanged Diwali greetings and shared the festive spirit.

On the occasion, AAP Chandigarh State President Vijay Pal Singh welcomed all the leaders and workers and expressed his gratitude for their participation. He said that Diwali is a festival of love, brotherhood, unity and harmony. He also wished everyone happiness, prosperity and a bright future.

The programme concluded with a renewed commitment to strengthening mutual brotherhood, organisational unity and collective efforts.
