The session was presided over by Hon’ble Governor Shri Gulab Chand Kataria ji, and the keynote address was delivered by Shri B. L. Santosh ji, National General Secretary (Organisation), BJP, whose articulation of civilisational thought and its contemporary relevance was both profound and deeply thought-provoking.
Distinguished Professor Renu Vig, Vice-Chancellor, Panjab University, also graced the occasion as Guest of Honour.
What made the interaction particularly meaningful was the presence of a distinguished and diverse gathering representing the intellectual and professional fabric of Chandigarh — including senior administrators, academicians, doctors, industry leaders, members of the legal fraternity, and civil society.
The quality of engagement reflected a growing interest in revisiting indigenous frameworks of thought in addressing contemporary challenges.
The dialogue reaffirmed that India’s future discourse must increasingly draw from its own civilisational foundations, while remaining open, adaptive, and forward-looking.
