Chandigarh, May 31, 2026:
An important meeting of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) volunteers and workers of Ward No. 27 was held today under the chairmanship of Chandigarh AAP State President Shri Vijay Pal. The meeting was attended by former Ward No. 27 President Shri P.P. Ghai, Leader of Opposition Sardar Hardeep Singh, and Ward No. 27 Observer Advocate Baltej Singh Walia.
During the meeting, with the objective of further strengthening and expanding the party organization in Ward No. 27, AAP spokesperson Shri Ajit Singh proposed the formation of a new ward team. The proposal was unanimously approved by all present and is being viewed as an important part of the party’s future organizational strategy.

Under the new appointments, Shri Jasvir Singh has been appointed as President of Ward No. 27. Shri Inderjit Malik and Advocate Rinku Bhaduri have been appointed as Vice Presidents. Shri Amit Shukla has been appointed as General Secretary. Mrs. Shashi Bala has been appointed President of the Women’s Wing, Mrs. Inderjit Kaur as Vice President of the Women’s Wing, and Mrs. Surjit Kaur Dhingra as General Secretary of the Women’s Wing.
Several dedicated party workers, including Davinder Singh Walia, Khushpal Singh, Ram Singh, Balkar Singh, Inderjit Kaur, Parminder Kaur, Balbir Kaur, Ram Sahay, Gurbaksh Singh, Trilochan Singh Sethi, Jaswinder Singh Rahi, and Varinder Kumar, were also present during the meeting.
A resolution was also passed to further expand and strengthen the party organization in the ward.
