People of Chandigarh are completely distressed by BJP’s misgovernance; mismanagement at Dadu Majra dumping ground and pathetic condition of gaushalas a matter of serious concern: Jarnail Singh, In-charge, Aam Aadmi Party, Chandigarh

Chandigarh:
A positive and meaningful meeting was held today under the chairmanship of Chandigarh In-charge Jarnail Singh with senior office bearers and municipal councillors of the Aam Aadmi Party to discuss the upcoming mayoral elections. The meeting was attended by Co-Incharge Sunny Singh Ahluwalia, Chandigarh President Vijaypal Singh, and General Secretary Omkar Singh Aulakh.

Addressing the meeting, In-charge Jarnail Singh said that the Aam Aadmi Party is fully prepared for the mayoral elections and its councillors are united and determined to fight strongly on issues concerning the people. He emphasized that the party’s objective is not merely to win the mayor’s post, but to provide Chandigarh with a better, cleaner, and more accountable administration.

During the meeting, councillors apprised the leadership about the serious issues arising from the BJP-run Chandigarh Municipal Corporation, including the mismanaged disposal of garbage at the Dadu Majra dumping ground, the deplorable condition of gaushalas, and other pressing public-interest concerns. They pointed out that these failures have led to severe problems related to public health, the environment, and basic civic amenities for city residents.

AAP leaders stated that the people of Chandigarh are completely fed up with the BJP’s misgovernance and are now seeking honest, transparent, and people-centric leadership in the Municipal Corporation. It was also resolved in the meeting that the party will continue to raise its voice strongly on every civic issue and will persist in its struggle to safeguard public interest.
