*Strong Support by Chandigarh Youth for ‘One Nation, One Election’; Signature Campaign Organised at Chandigarh Railway Station by Youth for ONOE*

Chandigarh:
A large-scale signature campaign in support of ‘One Nation, One Election’ was organised today at the Chandigarh Railway Station, witnessing enthusiastic participation from hundreds of youths of Chandigarh. The campaign was conducted under the banner of ‘Youth for ONOE’, reflecting the growing support among young citizens for electoral reforms in the country.

The participating youths stated that the One Nation, One Election initiative would significantly reduce the massive expenditure incurred due to frequent elections, ensure better utilisation of administrative resources, and allow uninterrupted continuation of development works. They emphasised that simultaneous elections would help improve governance, policy implementation, and overall administrative efficiency.

The signature campaign was organised by Abhay Jha, Sameer Gupta, Ajay Sood, Nikku Pandey, Shantu Singh, and Jeet Gupta, all active members of Youth for ONOE. The organisers appreciated the overwhelming response from the youth and highlighted that Chandigarh’s young generation is well aware of national issues and firmly stands with reforms aimed at strengthening democracy.

During the campaign, the youths reaffirmed their commitment to democratic reforms, efficient governance, and national development. The organisers further stated that Youth for ONOE will continue to conduct awareness campaigns in the future to take the message of ‘One Nation, One Election’ to every section of society.
