Chandigarh, October 29:
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Chandigarh held an important meeting today at the party office in Sector 39, which was attended by Delhi MLA and Chandigarh in-charge Mr. Jarnail Singh. The meeting was also graced by Chandigarh President Mr. Vijaypal Singh, General Secretary Mr. Omkar Singh Olak, Treasurer Mr. J.D. Ghai, all party councillors, senior leaders, and a large number of dedicated volunteers.
The primary agenda of the meeting was to review preparations for the upcoming Municipal Corporation elections and to strengthen the organization further at the grassroots level.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Jarnail Singh said,
“In 2021, we contested the Chandigarh elections for the first time, and the people blessed us with 14 out of 35 seats, showing immense trust and affection. Just as the people of Delhi gave the Aam Aadmi Party a historic mandate of 67 out of 70 seats, the citizens of Chandigarh have also embraced us wholeheartedly. We are confident that this love and support will continue to grow in the coming days.”
He further emphasized that the foundation of the Aam Aadmi Party rests on service, honesty, and transparency, which remain the key principles for earning the people’s faith in Chandigarh as well.
On the occasion, Chandigarh President Mr. Vijaypal Singh said,
“Our goal is to return with a full majority in the Chandigarh Municipal Corporation so that we can work wholeheartedly for the welfare of the people. We will reach out to every citizen, strengthen their trust, and ensure that Chandigarh continues to move forward with honesty and accountability. We are confident that the people will once again extend overwhelming support to the Aam Aadmi Party.”
The meeting concluded with great enthusiasm and unity, as all leaders and volunteers resolved to work tirelessly to ensure a strong performance in the upcoming elections.
