BJP Chandigarh organizes grand cultural program on Teej festival
Chandigarh, July 27 —
The Bharatiya Janata Party, Chandigarh Pradesh, organized a grand cultural program today at the state office Kamalam, Sector 33, on the occasion of the Teej festival. More than 300 women from across Chandigarh participated in the celebration with great enthusiasm. The event was filled with vibrant performances of traditional music, dance, and Giddha.
Women dressed in beautiful traditional attire danced to Teej songs and performed lively Giddha and Punjabi folk dances, captivating the entire audience. The venue was decorated with traditional rangoli, flowers, and hangings, creating a festive and cultural atmosphere.
On this occasion, BJP Chandigarh Pradesh President Jitendra Pal Malhotra said that the party is not limited to politics alone but is continuously working for the preservation and promotion of Indian culture, traditions, and festivals. Festivals like Teej serve to unite women, connect them to our cultural roots, and strengthen family and social values.
He also mentioned that BJP regularly organizes such programs to ensure that the new generation stays connected with Indian traditions and values. These cultural events infuse positivity in society and provide women a platform to express their creativity and talent.
Senior leaders of the party along with key members of the BJP Mahila Morcha were present at the event. Everyone celebrated the Teej festival together with joy and enthusiasm, and appreciated the role of women in preserving cultural heritage.
