Park Grecian Hospital unveils Robotic Arthroplasty Center
Center to revolutionizing joint replacement surgery with advanced robotics
Mohali: A state-of-the-art Robotic Arthroplasty Center of Excellence was launched at Park Grecian Hospital, Mohali on Thursday.
Addressing a press conference here today, Dr. Bhanu Pratap Singh Saluja , chairman and director Robotic Arthroplasty Center of Excellence said that equipped with cutting-edge robotic technology, the center features ROBO suite, incorporating ROBO 3D, ROBO eye, and ROBO arm. It will deliver unprecedented precision, efficiency, and superior patient outcomes.
This isn’t just about surgery, it’s about transforming lives, asserted Dr. Bhanu.
“With advanced robotic technology, we’re making joint replacements faster, safer, and more effective than ever before. Patients at Park Grecian Hospital will be walking within hours and resuming pain-free lives in just days,”
The center is a game changer as it reduces surgery time to just 10-12 minutes with no stitches, no catheters and minimal scarring, informed Dr. Bhanu.
The patient can walk within 4 hours and regain independence in 2 days post procedure. It is also powered by 3D augmented reality and artificial intelligence, he said .
The center will specialize in robotic hip and knee replacements, complex revision surgeries, sports medicine and arthroscopy, shoulder, elbow, and ankle joint replacements and orthopedics & trauma care.
With minimally invasive robotic technology, patients will experience shorter hospital stays, reduced pain, and significantly faster recovery times – all delivered with precision and care.
Meanwhile Park Mohali is also offering free robotic technology for the first 100 patients. Patients will only need to cover the cost of the treatment package, whereas the entire robotic technology (ROBO 3D, ROBO Arm, and ROBO Eye) will be provided free of cost. This initiative aims to make advanced healthcare accessible to all.
