On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Chandigarh’s eminent counsellor Monica Sachdeva (Certified Counsellor from Canada and Indira Gandhi Open University) announced to do primary counseling free for Meritorious Single Girl Child of Indian Army in USA and Canada Colleges and Universities . At the annual meet event held in Chandigarh, Monica honored her colleagues with a commendation for conducting online free webinars for all students during the Covid period.
On this occasion, Monica said that during the Covid period, students are living in mental stress. In such situation, the role of a counsellor becomes important. The need of the hour is that all the counsellors of India should give up their personal benefits and come forward with free counselling of all students. Throughout the Covid period, Monica was present all the time through webinars and her tele-helpline to address to all the students’ problems. Counsellors present at the annual meet included Varsha Malaviya, Monika Sachdeva, Rakhi Singh and Gurneet Saggu.
Monica’s team is organising Free online Webinars of English, Math, Political Science, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Accounts etc. for the students of class XII CBSE.28 February to 25 April. She along with her team also organized online essay competition, craft competition, national poster making competition for free in Covid era.
