Sh. Nitish Singla, SDM East held a meeting with the area SHO’s to discuss the arrangements in the city ahead of the festive season.
The SDM directed all the SHO’s to keep a track of activities in their areas and report in a time bound manner to avoid any untoward incident.
He stated that various illegal bakeries, restaurants have been mushrooming in the city and a constant check shall be done by the Food Safety Officers to keep a check on the adulterated food items.
He also stressed on the illegal/ unauthorised construction being done in the periphery areas. The SHO’s have been asked to do a serious checks in their jurisdiction and take serious action against the violators.
