Section Officer awarded jail term in corruption case
Chandigarh, Jan 20 – The court of Additional District and Session Judge, Yamunanagar has convicted Shravan Kumar, Section Officer in a corruption case and sentenced him to imprisonment alongwith fine.
Sharing the details, a spokesperson of Haryana State Vigilance Bureau said that the court has sentenced the imprisonment of 3-years along with Rs 5000 fine to Shravan Kumar posted as Section Officer in District Education Department, Yamunanagar under section 7 of Prevention of Corruption Act and 4-years imprisonment with fine of Rs 10000 under section 13(1) D of Prevention of Corruption Act in a case FIR No. 2 registered in Bureau’s Panchkula thana in the year 2017.
