The Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, New Delhi has made a Rule in the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989 vide which the requirement of production of new fully built motor vehicles before registering authority for the purpose of registration for the first time has been abolished.
Therefore, it is for the information of the general public that henceforth “a motor vehicle sold by an authorized dealer shall not require for production before a registering authority for the purpose of registration for the first time if it is fully built motor vehicle”. However, the production of vehicles in other cases except above will continue.
