171 beneficiaries received first dose of Covaxin at COVID-19 Vaccination centre for 15-18 Years in PGIMER, Chandigarh: January 3 : In tandem with the national vaccination drive for 15-18 age group, PGIMER also kick-started its COVID-19 Vaccination Drive today at the Vaccination Centre in Advanced Paediatric Centre for 15 – 18 years.Prof. Madhu Gupta, Dept. of Community Medicine, Chairperson, Prof. Sanjay Verma, Dept. of Paediatrics, Dr. Vijay Tadia, Deputy Medical Superintendent, Dept of Hospital administration, PGIMER and many other faculty members, nursing officers and healthcare workers were present on the occasion. In all 171 beneficiaries received the first dose of Covaxin with no adverse events following immunization at the Vaccination Centre in Advanced Pediatric Centre, PGIMER. In addition 280 vaccinations were done in LT 1 for adults
