ST. ANNE’S CONDUCTED ORIENTATION PROGRAMME FOR PARENTS.

St Anne’s Convent School conducted Parents’ Orientation Programme today in
school auditorium. Around 2000 parents attended the sessions. The resource
persons included –Mrs. Sarika Kapila, School counsellor and Mr Kanwaljit Singh
Randhawa, Principal, MGN Public School Jalandhar.
Mrs. Sarika emphasized on bridging the gaps between parents and children
and highlighted the importance of giving quality time to children. She
suggested various strategies of effective parenting and also apprised the
parents about rules and regulations of the school and the need to inculcate
discipline among the students for their holistic growth.
Mr. Randhawa highlighted on New Education policy and explained about some
changes likely to be introduced in the coming years. Parents were informed
about 5+3+3+4 system, PEN, Semester system etc. Doubt clearing session was
also conducted where both the resource persons solved the queries of parents.
The Principal of the school, Sr. Sijji Isaac thanked the parents and honored the
resource persons with mementoes and plants.
