“Mastaney: Unraveling the Truth Behind ‘SIKHA DE 12 VAJJ GAYE’ on the Silver Screen! Releasing on 25th August 2023”

Chandigarh, 9th Aug 2023: Prepare to be transported to an era of undying courage and sacrifice as “Mastaney” is ready to mesmerize the audiences with its captivating narrative of Sikh bravery and resilience. The highly anticipated film, presented by Vehli Janta Films and Omjee’s Cine World, is all set to release on 25th August 2023, promising an enthralling cinematic experience.

The project is produced by Manpreet Johal with Aashu Munish Sahni and Karamjit Singh Johal and written and directed by Sharan Art. The highly talented cast comprising Tarsem Jassar, Simi Chahal, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Karamjit Anmol, Honey Mattu, and Baninder Bunny have showcased captivating performances and are ready to leave the audience in awe and wonder.

“Mastaney” unravels the untold legacy of the Sikh community, delving deep into their history as defenders of justice and freedom. Set in the 18th century, the film uncovers what Sikhs are and what they stood for against all the odds. Throughout history, Sikhs have displayed unparalleled bravery, making profound sacrifices to protect their faith and champion the rights of others. The rich tapestry of Sikh history is a testament to their unwavering commitment to justice, compassion, and selflessness in the face of adversity. Yet, it is unfortunate that their remarkable achievements have been undervalued, echoing in the common phrase, “SIKHAN DE 12 VAJJ GAYE,” reflecting a regrettable reality of overlooked contributions.

“The Sikh community’s unwavering courage and sacrifices have been an inspiration for generations,” said the film’s director, Sharan Art. “Through ‘Mastaney,’ we aim to bring to light the indomitable spirit of the Sikhs. The film is inspired by true events when Sikhs became a shield for innocent lives against the atrocities of Nader Shah.
