Dr. Vivek Lal visits PGI satellite Centre Una, Himachal Pardesh
Prof. Vivek Lal, Director, PGIMER, visited Satellite Centre Una along with his engineering team today on 19-09-2023 to look after the progress related to functioning of OPD block. The OPD block is expected to function by March, 2024. Dr Vivek Lal visited the Civil Hospital Una where presently the PGI satellite centre OPD is functioning. Dr. Lal is a reputed Neurologist and Head, department of Neurology, PGIMER Chandigarh. He interacted with the OPD patients and examined many patients in the OPD at Una. The functioning of Satellite Centre Una will be a boon to patients of Himachal Pradesh in near future as almost all specialty services will be under one roof. This project will be catering all the adjoining districts of Una and will act as a barricade for patient referral to PGI Chandigarh. He was also accompanied by Dr. B.R. Mittal, Professor incharge engineering and Dr. Rajeev Chauhan, Nodal officer for Satellite Centre Una.
