Chandigarh.28 April,2021:The Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector-32 has decided that to maintain quality of the food for patients, now a Senior Doctor/Officer will have the same food as Break Fast/Lunch/Dinner which is being served to patients. This system will be in addition to the existing system of routine tasting of food and maintaining the register for the same.
First day the undersigned alongwith Director Principal and Medical Superintend of GMCH-32 had the same lunch that was served to patients. Incidentally one Journalist who happens to be there also joined for the lunch and appreciated quality of the food being given to patients at GMCH-32. The today’s menu was consisting- Rajma, Vegetable, Raita, Green Salad, Rice and three Chapattis.
The main intention behind this initiative to send a message to the person involved in cooking to be aware that now apart from patients the same food is being taken by senior doctors/officers.
