The Department of Music observed a two minute silence to condole the demise of Vidushi Lata Mangeshkar, the “nightingale of India” who gave her voice to Music World for more than 70 years. Professor Neelam Paul, Chairperson, Department of Music said that she will always be alive in our heart and her each song is itself is a lesson to achieve perfection in the field of Music. All the students and staff including Dr. Anil Kumar Sharma paid tribute to the legendary artists of the Music world.
