“Darkness in Punjab, Drama in Chandigarh – AAP’s Double Face Fully Exposed”

Chandigarh, April 1: Residents of Mohali district, including Zirakpur, Nayagaon, Kharar and nearby areas, are facing a severe power crisis. Consumers have been suffering from power outages lasting more than 10 hours लगातार for several days, reportedly in the name of maintenance.
Despite this serious situation, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)-led government has failed to provide any concrete solution, leading to growing anger among the public.
In contrast, AAP leaders in Chandigarh are staging protests over electricity issues merely to gain political mileage, exposing their double standards.
Bharatiya Janata Party, Chandigarh’s State General Secretary Sanjeev Rana strongly reacted to the situation, stating that this reflects the true face of AAP.
He said,
“On one hand, people in Punjab are suffering from 10-hour-long power cuts and the AAP government remains completely silent. On the other hand, the same party is creating drama in Chandigarh just to grab headlines. This clearly exposes AAP’s double standards.”
Sanjeev Rana further stated that AAP councillors in Chandigarh have started leaving the party as they have realized the truth and how the residents were misled.
He alleged that during the MC elections, AAP had promised free electricity and water to the residents of Chandigarh but has completely failed to fulfill those promises.
He added,
“Now, as MC elections are approaching, AAP is once again trying to mislead the public by showing false sympathy. However, people are now aware and can clearly see through their lies.”
The BJP reiterated its commitment to addressing real public issues and stated that such political theatrics will not contribute to the development of the region.
