Chandigarh:
On the death anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, BJP Chandigarh organized a special service programme at Labour Chowk, Sector 44. The programme was conducted under the leadership of Medical Cell Convenor Lalit Takiyar with the support of Construction Workers Labour Union President Ramlal Bairwa.
State President Jitendra Pal Malhotra distributed free spectacles to the labourers present on the occasion. The initiative aimed to implement the philosophy of ‘Antyodaya’—upliftment of the last person in society—propounded by Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya. A large number of workers benefited from the service activity.
In his address, the State President said that the life of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya is a symbol of service, simplicity and dedication to the nation. Inspired by his ideology, BJP Chandigarh remains committed to social service and welfare initiatives.
State General Secretary Rambir Bhatti, Sanjeev Rana, Co-Convenor Meena Chadha, Deepak Pathak, Mahila Morcha State President Heera Negi, senior party worker Gopal Shukla and Anu were also present. All reaffirmed their resolve to carry forward his ideals of service, dedication and nation-building.
