Puneet Verma Elected as New President of TiE Chandigarh, Shares Vision for 2025–26
Chandigarh, July 25, 2025 — The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of TiE Chandigarh was held on July 25, 2025, in a grand ceremony attended by over 250 members. The event was graced by the Hon’ble Finance Minister of Punjab, Adv. Harpal Singh Cheema, as the Chief Guest, and renowned Punjabi actor and singer Mr. Karamjit Anmol as the Guest of Honour.
Mr. Puneet Verma, Founder & CEO of Cybrain Software Solutions, was elected as the new President of TiE Chandigarh for the year 2025–26.
In his first address as President, Mr. Verma shared his vision for the coming year, focusing on strengthening startup mentorship programs, fostering deeper industry-academia collaboration, expanding funding opportunities, and enhancing global outreach for entrepreneurs in the region. He emphasized TiE Chandigarh’s role in empowering the next generation of innovators and committed to creating a more vibrant and inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Outgoing President Mr. S.K. Arora presented the Activity Report Card for the year 2024–25 to the members.
The AGM also featured the distribution of chapter awards recognizing outstanding contributions by members. Entrepreneurs Ms. Isha Jhawar and Mr. Sahil Vohra, who secured funding on the popular television show Shark Tank, shared their success stories and highlighted the vital role TiE Chandigarh played in their entrepreneurial journey.
Notably, Mr. Murli Bukapatnam and Mr. Kiran Deshpande from TiE Global were also present at the event, adding further prestige to the gathering.
