On Guru Purnima, BJP State President Jitendra Pal Malhotra Honoured Brahma Kumari Didis
Chandigarh, July 11 —
On the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima, a devotional program was organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party at the Brahma Kumari Ashram located in Sector 33, under Ward No. 22 of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee District. On this occasion, BJP State President Jitendra Pal Malhotra honoured Uttara Didi and Neha Didi by presenting them with a shawl and flowers, and received their blessings.
On this occasion, Uttara Didi, becoming emotional, said,
“This is the first time we have been honoured in this way at the Ashram. It is a matter of great pride and spiritual joy for us.”
In response, State President Jitendra Pal Malhotra said,
“Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi has a clear vision that the saint community must be given full respect, as they are the guiding lights who provide the right direction to society. Their spiritual guidance maintains balance and harmony in society. The BJP bows in reverence to the contributions of such saints and gurus.”
The program was attended by State General Secretary Sanjeev Kumar Rana, District President Ravindra Malik, District General Secretary L.D. Sharma, and Mandal President Richa Verma, along with several party workers and devotees.
This event further strengthened social harmony and spiritual consciousness, and everyone appreciated the contribution being made by the Brahma Kumari institution to society.
