Citizens Awareness Group Honours Sanjay Tandon for Outstanding Social Service
Chandigarh, April 8: Citizens Awareness Group honoured Shri Sanjay Tandon for his commendable contributions to society. He has been actively engaged in organizing numerous blood donation camps and distributing food packets to underprivileged residents.
Shri Tandon is known for his dedicated public service, addressing citizen grievances daily from his residence-cum-office. His calm demeanour, ever-smiling nature, and commitment to community welfare have earned him widespread respect.
In collaboration with the Chandigarh Police, Shri Tandon also initiated Gully Cricket matches for the city’s youth and teenagers. The initiative aims to steer young minds away from substance abuse and crime by encouraging them to participate in sports and constructive activities.
Prominent members present at the felicitation ceremony included Mr. Surinder Verma (Chairman), Ms. Shikha Nijhawan (Joint Secretary), Mr. Parvesh Chauhan (Photo Journalist), and governing council members Ms. Archna Sood and Ms. Karuna.
