Population Research Centre Panjab university organised a webinar on “Social Dimensions and Social Security Programs for Elderly in India” on Date 18.5.2022 ( Wednesday ). Webinar was inaugurated by Prof. Sudhir Kumar Dean Research Panjab University and Chaired by Prof. Suresh Sharma Head, Population Research Centre Institute of Economic Growth New Delhi. Prof. T V Sekhar Head Department of Family and Generations at International Institute of Population Sciences (IIPS) Mumbai was the key speaker of the webinar. He was highlighted the social security of aged population in India. He also discussed the findings of the longitudinal ageing survey in India (LASI). The webinar was attended by people from diverse field and researcher from population research centres also actively participated. Prof. Kumool Abbi gave the vote of thanks.
