E-Tender of vacant dwelling units on Free-hold basis

Chansigarh.30 April,2021:The Chandigarh Housing Board invited e-Tenders for the sale of 109 Built-up Dwelling Units on Free-Hold Basis. The units were available in Sector-38(West), Sector-49, Sector-51 and in Sector-63. The last of submitted of e-bids was 30.04.2021 at 02.00 PM.

All the technical e-bids (first envelop) have been opened as per the schedule at 03.00 PM Today and the all the e-bids have been declared technically qualified. This time, the response is very good because last year no bid was received for these units. We have reduced reserve prices these units by about 10%. Total 105 bids have been received against 36 dwelling units.

Considering the Curfew/Lockdown related issues due to COVID pandemic, the financial bids (second envelope) will be opened on Monday i.e. 03.05.2021 from 10.00 AM onwards. The detail of successful highest bidders for each of the dwelling unit will be uploaded on the website of the Chandigarh Housing Board www.chbonline.in , after opening of all the financial e-bids. Considering that total 105 e-bids have been received, it is expected that opening of financial bids may take some time and the result of the e-Tender may be uploaded on the website by afternoon of 03.05.2021.

Here it also clarified that the highest bidder is allowed to deposit the 25% (twenty-five percent) of the bid amount (after adjusting EMD) within five working days. The period of ‘five working days’ will start opening of the financial bids.
