Advanced Eye Centre, PGIMER receives Generous Contribution of Rs 12.5 Lakhs from Vardhman Group for the visually impaired children & adult poor patients
Chandigarh : August 4 : The Advanced Eye Centre, PGI, Chandigarh has received donation of Rs. 12.50 lacs from prestigious M/s Vardhman Group for visually impaired children and adult poor patients visiting the Advanced Eye Centre for multiple eye ailments. Prof Jagat Ram, Director, PGI thanked and appreciated from Sh. S. P. Oswal, Chairman, Vardhman Group and Padhma Bhushan awardee for this generous help.
Sh Inder Mohan Jit Singh Sidhu, Director, Sh Anurag Bedi, Mr Rikki Raj and Mr Raju Kumar handed handed over a cheque of Rs. 12.50 lacs to Prof Jagat Ram, Director, PGI, Chandigarh, Sh Kumar Gaurav, Deputy Director, Administration and Prof SS Pandav, Head, Advanced Eye Centre on 4.8.2021.
On this occasion, Prof Jagat Ram also appreciated the efforts of M/s Vardhman Group for providing continuous help under Corporate Social Responsibility for the last 5 years in the poor patient fund of the Institute. On behalf of the PGI, Chandigarh, Prof Jagat Ram, Director, PGI, Chandigarh has assured the representatives of Vardhman Group that this financial help will strictly be utilized for the needy and poor patients.
