UT boys failed to defend 282,  lost to Mumbai by eight wickets.

Chandigarh, UT lads failed to defend a mammoth score of 282 against Mumbai to face a eight wicket defeat in a league match of Vinoo Mankad Trophy being played in Hyderabad on Wednesday.  Chandigarh opted to bat first and put 282 runs on the board with fine contributions from Devang Kaushik (85) and Skipper Paras (53). Beside them, Ishan Gaba (45), Aryan Verma (34) and Nishank Birla (32) exceptionally contributed to the side. In reply, Mumbai achieved the given target in the 42nd over at the loss of two wickets. Skipper Musheer Khan scored 160 runs while Manan Bhatt (59) also scored a half-century.

Chandigarh’s next match is against Gujarat on October 20.
