Union Minister Sri Anurag Singh Thakur Visits Lovely Professional University Jalandhar, Encourages Youth to Promote Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat
Minister of Information and Broadcasting and Youth Affairs and Sports, Sri Anurag Singh Thakur, visited Lovely Professional University in Jalandhar today, where he addressed the students and emphasized the importance of promoting the feeling of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat among the youth. Minister Thakur encouraged the students to visit several scenic and historical places across the country, including the border areas, which would help in promoting unity and strengthening the country’s youth power.
During his speech, the Union Minister Sri Anurag Singh Thakur highlighted the government’s efforts in promoting innovation and entrepreneurship among the youth, with thousands of startups working in the country today. He reminded the youth of the five vows written by the Prime Minister and urged them to make it a part of their lives, while also appealing to them to stay away from the evils of drugs.
“The youth is the strength of our country, and it is only the youth that can take our country forward on the path of development,” said Union Minister Sri Anurag Singh Thakur. “I am glad to see the energy and enthusiasm among the youth here at Lovely Professional University. We have joined the top five big economies of the world, and in the next three years, we will become the third-largest industry in the world.”
Minister Thakur also emphasized the importance of fitness and encouraged the youth to devote half an hour daily to fitness activities. He also met with sportspersons who won medals at the national and international levels and boosted their morale.
The Minister interacted with the students and heard their ideas and perspectives. He encouraged them to think outside the box and take advantage of the resources available to them to create innovative solutions to the country’s challenges.
The event was attended by University Chancellor Ashok Mittal, Pro Chancellors Rashmi Mittal and Ramesh Mittal, who welcomed the Union Minister Sri Anurag Singh Thakur to the campus.
