BJP to hold Har Ghar Tiranga campaign; 70 thousand people to hoist national flag
Chandigarh, August 8
Chandigarh BJP will distribute 70 thousand national flags to be hosted in homes on Independence Day under Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.
All the mandals of the BJP will celebrate and work under the campaign. The campaign will start from August 11 and BJP workers will go door-to-door to distribute the Tricolour.
Addressing a press conference in this regard, BJP President Jatinder Pal Malhotra today said, “We are all attached to Bharat mata. On its Independence Day, we can encourage people to express thier love through this. It is an embodiment of our commitment to nation-building. This campaign will invoke the feeling of patriotism and promote awareness about the national flag.”
Party General Secretary Amit Jindal has been made the convener of the campaign. While vice presidents Shakti Devshali and Devender Singh Babla will be the co-conveners. They along with State Secretary Sanjeev Rana and Dr Dharinder Tayal were also present at the press conference.
Others leaders
Sonia Duggal, Parveen Narang Bunty, Abhay Jha among others are also part of the campaign.
The party president further said, “We have made elaborate arrangements for the campaign. Different committees have been formed to carry out the work. We have held several meetings to decide the responsibilities of different leaders and workers.”
