Today, in a meeting chaired by Sh Rajeev Verma, Adviser to the Administrator, UT Chandigarh, reviewed the framing of Recruitment Rules for various posts in Chandigarh Administration departments. Directions were issued to create/revive posts and frame Recruitment Rules at the earliest.
The Adviser emphasized the need for departments to frame rules promptly and in a time bound manner as many departments are relying on contractual staff due to the absence of finalized rules. Departments were asked to consult UPSC, if necessary, for rule framing and ensure timely completion of this process alongside post creation/revival.
Sh. Nitin Kumar Yadav, Home Secretary, Sh. Ajay Chagti, Secretary Personnel, Sh. Vinay Partap Singh, Deputy Commissioner, Ms Purva Garg, Secretary Education, Sh. Hari Kalikkat, Secretary Agriculture and all the Head of Departments were present in the meeting.
