PUNJAB GOVERNOR AND ADMINISTRATOR, UNION TERRITORY, CHANDIGARH GREETS PEOPLE ON MAHA SHIVRATRI
CHANDIGARH, MARCH 7: The Punjab Governor and Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh, Shri Banwari Lal Purohit extended greetings to the people on the sacred occasion of Maha Shivratri.
In a message, Sh. Purohit said, “Maha Shivaratri, is the most auspicious and significant spiritual festival for millions of devotees of Lord Shiva and the day is observed with fervor and devotion. May this auspicious occasion inspire noble thoughts of love, affection, amity and brotherhood in all of us”.
Sh. Purohit hoped that the festival of Mahashivratri would prove helpful in infusing new zeal and enthusiasm in the lives of the people of the country and state by strengthening mutual brotherhood. “Let us pray to Lord Shiva to bless us with wisdom and courage to overcome flaws within”, said Banwari Lal Purohit.
