PGI hosts 11th Annual Radiology Conference of Chandigarh Branch.
PGI hosted the 11th Annual Radiology Conference of Chandigarh Branch of Indian Radiology and Imaging Association on 9th and 10th December, 2023.
The conference was inaugurated by Chief Guest Prof. M.S.Sandhu, Head Department of Radiodiagnosis, PGI, Chandigarh. The Guest of Honour was Dr. L. Murali Krishna a very prominent Radiologist from Chennai, who is currently the Secretary General of Indian Radiology and Imaging Association.
The Organizing Chairperson of the conference was Prof. Ravinder Kaur, Head, Department of Radiodiagnosis at GMCH Sector -32, Chandigarh. She was ably assisted by Prof. Sammer Vyas of PGI who was the Organizing Secretary, and Dr. Harish Bhujade Treasurer of the Society.
The Theme of this 2 day Conference was on Neuro Radiology and Recent advances in Radiology, and eminent speakers from all over North India included senior faculty from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi and Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi. Prominent speakers form PGI included Prof. Paramjeet Singh along with other senior Faculty from PGI.
The Conference was very well attended by the delegates coming from Uttarakhand, UP, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal and Chandigarh.
The incoming president of this prestigious Chandigarh Radiology Chapter is Prof. Naveen Kalra and his team includes Prof. Sameer Vyas as Secretary and Dr. Harish Bhujade as Treasurer, all from PGI
