Enthralling Photo Exhibition Unveiled on International Day of Yoga, Showcasing 9 Years of Seva, Sushasan & Garib Kalyan in Tira Sujanpur

Sujanpur Tira Maidan, District Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh: On the auspicious occasion of the International Day of Yoga, a captivating 5-day photo exhibition was inaugurated today at Sujanpur Tira Maidan. This extraordinary exhibition, organized by the Regional Office of the Central Bureau of Communications, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, Hamirpur, is dedicated to celebrating ‘9 years of Seva, Sushasan & Garib Kalyan’ and shedding light on the impactful public welfare schemes initiated by the Central Government. The exhibition will be held from 21st June 2023 to 25th June 2023.

Gracing the occasion, Mr. Jitendra Sanjata, ADC Hamirpur, cut the ribbon, symbolizing the commencement of this remarkable event. Mr. Sanjata took the time to explore the exhibition, appreciating the captivating visuals and the message they conveyed.

In sync with the spirit of Yoga Day, the students of Government Senior Secondary School Sujanpur participated in an engaging painting and slogan writing competition. Their creativity and talent were on full display as they beautifully depicted the essence of yoga in their artwork. Isha Shadayal emerged as the winner in the poster painting category, while Muskan Thakur secured the second position, followed by Rakshanda in third place. In the slogan writing category, Dikshika Thakur clinched the first prize, with Sneha and Akshita Ratan capturing the second and third positions, respectively.

The exhibition not only showcases the vibrant culture and scenic beauty of the region but also pays homage to significant public welfare schemes such as Pradhan Mantri Sunidhi Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, and Pradhan Mantri Garib Parivar Kalyan Yojana. The visitors, including students, women, and other attendees, were enlightened about these schemes through soul-stirring performances of songs and dramas presented by the talented artists on the spot. Ashok Singh, a renowned artist, left the audience enthralled with his captivating performance.

The event witnessed the esteemed presence of Ashok Singh Pathania, Tehsildar Sujanpur, Balbir Birla, DPO Hamirpur, Kuldeep Singh, along with the staff members of Government Senior Secondary School Sujanpur, including Dr. Vasudev Sharma, Mrs. Shammi Sharma, Anil Kumar, Anurag, and Mrs. Avika, among others.

Mr. Jitendra Sanjata, ADC Hamirpur, expressed his delight, stating, “It is truly a momentous occasion to inaugurate this photo exhibition on the International Day of Yoga. This exhibition not only highlights the progress achieved in the past 9 years through the principles of Seva, Sushasan & Garib Kalyan but also showcases the remarkable artistic talent of our students. I extend my warmest congratulations to the winners of the painting and slogan writing competition and applaud the efforts of the organizing department in promoting the welfare schemes of the Central Government.”
