The National Service Scheme (NSS) in collaboration with Centre of Medical Physics and the Boys Hostel Number2 of the Panjab University organized a “Tree Plantation Drive” on the 21st February, 2022. The NSS volunteers and participants planted trees and plants in the surroundings of their home . Dr. Anuj Kumar, coordinator of the plantation drive said that Tree plantation is very important for the community and this initiative will go a long way in inculcating awareness among the people about environment conservation.
Prof. Ashwani Koul said that the enthusiasm of students shows their willingness to keep the locality greener and cleaner. Shivansh. Snehil, Swapnil, Jagriti, Manisha, Silky, Shakti and Sarita contributed in the plantation drive and encouraged others for the same.
