Dr. RC Mishra inspected the NIFT building
Panchkula, December 16 – DGP and Managing Director, Haryana Police Housing Corporation, Dr. RC Mishra went round the Newly constructed National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) premises at Sector 23 and inspected the building.
During the visit, he inspected the construction work of the institute and got information about it from the officials of the corporation. Chief Engineer, Sanjay Mahajan and other officers of the corporation were also present on this occasion.
Expressing satisfaction over the quality of construction work, he instructed the officers that the furniture of the institute should be procured at the earliest, so that the building can be made functional at the earliest and handed over to the concerned department. He said that the youth would get new employment opportunities after passing out from this institute.
During this, the officials of the corporation informed that this institute, spread over 10.42 acres and covered area of the building is 3,49,0000 sqft. and has been built at an approximate cost of Rs 95 crore.
