Chandigarh, Feb 1 – In 2020, an impressive 85.56 % of the complainants were satisfied with police action related to redressal of their grievances received at CM Window and HarSamay portal of Haryana Police.

Giving this information here today, Director General of Police (DGP), Haryana, Sh. Manoj Yadava said that this has been revealed in a state-wide telephonic feedback, carried out every month, where complainants were randomly contacted to get their feedback on satisfaction level concerning redressal of grievances.

To get the feedback, over 73000 complainants were contacted, out of which close to 63500 persons expressed satisfaction with police action.

“Police had continuous feedback mechanism by which disposal of complaints at CM Window and Harsamay portal are regularly monitored. The above 85.56 % satisfaction level figure was revealed after consolidating monthly figures of feedback taken by all the districts during 2020. All field units at their own level are required to call the complainants on a randomised basis to obtain the feedback about redressal of grievances”, he added.

At 96 %, the maximum satisfaction level at CM Window was recorded in Jhajjar district where 737 persons were contacted through feedback call centres followed by 94 % in Faridabad district in which feedback was obtained from 2419 complainants.

Similarly, the highest satisfaction score of 94 % each was reported on Harsamay portal in Jind, Faridabad and Jhajjar districts with the feedback figures of 2783, 3756 and 303 respectively.

Sh. Yadava said that our field units randomly examine and verifying grievances received at CM Window and HarSamay portal and action taken thereon to ensure speedy disposal and satisfaction to the complainant. The idea of regular monitoring of satisfaction level also ensures better governance, he added.
