Today a grand closing ceremony for 5th Rashtriya POSHAN Maah

Today a grand closing ceremony for 5th Rashtriya POSHAN Maah, was organised at Chandigarh Institute of Hotel Management, Sector-42, Chandigarh by the Department of Social Welfare, Women & Child Development Chandigarh Administration. This seminar was presided over by the Mrs. Nikita Pawar, IAS, Secretary, Social Welfare, Women & Child Development, Chandigarh Administration was Chief Guest. Mrs. Palika Arora, PCS, Director, Social Welfare, Women & Child Development, Chandigarh Administration and senior officials of different relevant departments were also present at this ceremony. After the Welcome address, a pledge on POSHAN was taken by all the honorary guests and officers. Chief guest Felicitated all the line departments for convergence during the celebration of POSHAN Maah were also organised. Chief Guest acknowledged the services rendered by NSS Programme officers, NSS volunteers and State NSS Cell Chandigarh. Award of appreciation received by Dr.Nemi Chand, State Liaison officer and Regional Director Mrs Harinder Kaur.The Meritorious services of the National Service Scheme was honoured by the Chief Guest.
