The ERO emphasis on the enrollment of young elector

Chandigarh.14 December,2020:A review meeting on Special Summary Revision of Photo Electoral Roll-2021 was held under the Chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner-cum-Electoral Registration Officer of Chandigarh Parliamentary Constituency, today. Meeting was attended by the Joint Chief Electoral Officer, AEROs, Nodal Officer Sveep and the inchage Sampark Centre. The ERO emphasis on the enrollment of young elector and directed all the AEROs to identify the young residents and enroll them in revision process. Further last date of receiving the claims and objections is 15-12-2020 fixed by ECI, so that this Constituency will achieve the target, and no young elector of age group between 18-19 years left for enrollment. The SVEEP Nodal Officer also briefs about the publicity given through the print media, social media, rallies etc. In the end ERO requested all the residents to enroll themselves as elector who have not yet registered by 15-12-2020.
