In the meeting held between Director health services, UT Chandigarh and President IMA , Dr Vanita Gupta, it has been decided that;
All Private Hospitals where COVID positive patients cannot be managed, should immediately display prominently a Notice indicating that they are a non – COVID hospital and in case patient turns COVID positive, he/she would be referred to a COVID facility in the interest of the patient.
It may kindly be implemented with immediate effect by all nursing homes.
It should be made sure that the patient is aware of this advice. This may be done by mentioning the same as a stamp on the patient Card.
