(E-Tender of 55 vacant dwelling units on Free-hold basis)

1. During the first week of June 2021, the Chandigarh Housing Board has finalized E-Tender. Total 97 bids were received for 27 dwelling units and the highest bidders were required to deposit 25% of the bid amount within 05 working days. However, 03 highest bidders could not deposit the 25% amount within the prescribed period and hence their EMD amount of Rs. 2,00,000/- each have been forfeited. These 03 dwelling units have been again included in the vacant units.

2. Now Chandigarh Housing Board is going to sale its 55 Built-Up Residential Units on Free-Hold basis through E-Tender. The salient features of the e-Tender process are as under:
a) The E-Tender process is open to all the citizens of India as well as NRIs/PIOs above 18 years of age. The persons already having any property (Residential or Commercial) can also participate in the e-Tender.
b) The e-Tenders shall be invited separately for each Built-up Dwelling Unit The e-bid must be above the reserve price and the Built-up Dwelling Unit shall be allotted to the highest bidder. The bidders can revise their e-bids, any number of times, till closure of the bid submission.
c) The dwelling unit can be further sold, alienated, transferred etc. after the execution of Conveyance Deed with the CHB, as per law and as per the transfer policies of CHB applicable to Freehold properties. There shall be no restriction on the transfer of the dwelling unit purchased by way of Tender on Freehold basis.
d) A valid e-mail id, mobile number and digital signature are the basic requirements to participate in the e-Tender process.
e) EMD of Rs. 2,00,000/- for each dwelling unitisto be submitted online through e-tendering portal i.e. https://etenders.chd.nic.in.Bidders can submit their bid only after depositing online EMD. The payments may be deposited by bank to bank transfer using SBI MOPS or RTGS/ NEFT transfer through https://etenders.chd.nic.in portal. In case of unsuccessful e-bids, the EMD shall be refunded online to the bidders’ account.
f) E-tenders will be available at https://etenders.chd.nic.in on 15.06.2021 at  10:00 AM onwards and the bidders may immediately start to submit their  bids. The last date of e-bid submission is 05.07.2021 at 06.00 PM. In order to submit e-bids, every prospective bidder is required to get himself/herself registered at https://etenders.chd.nic.in.
