CSIR-CSIO KICKS OFF ONE-WEEK-ONE-LAB CAMPAIGN WITH A GRAND INAUGURATION

CSIR-CSIO, Chandigarh commenced its highly anticipated One-Week-One-Lab campaign on June 24, 2023. The campaign, aimed at showcasing the remarkable achievements and groundbreaking advancements in scientific research, promises to captivate audiences and foster innovation. The campaign was inaugurated by the esteemed Dr. N Kalaiselvi, Director General of CSIR, who graced the event with her distinguished presence. Her visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to scientific excellence have been instrumental in driving CSIR-CSIO’s path of innovation and growth. Dr. Kalaiselvi inaugurated CSIO Analytical facilities, and Information Science Division and laid the foundation stone of new Micro-Nano Optica Facility and a new hostel for research scholars.
The highlight of the day was the grand inaugural of the Exhibition of CSIR-CSIO developed technologies. Showcasing the brilliant minds and tireless efforts of CSIR-CSIO’s talented scientists, the exhibition provided a glimpse into the future of cutting-edge scientific instruments and technological breakthroughs. Furthermore, CSIR-CSIO took the opportunity to unveil the much-anticipated “CSIR-CSIO Annual Report 2021-22,” which encapsulates the organization’s remarkable achievements, significant milestones, and valuable contributions to scientific research. In addition, CSIR-CSIO released a series of captivating videos showcasing their revolutionary technologies. These videos, aimed at inspiring and educating the masses, offer an immersive experience into the world of CSIR-CSIO’s breakthrough inventions, providing a glimpse into the future of scientific innovation.
As part of their commitment to fostering international collaboration and knowledge exchange, CSIR-CSIO also announced the official launch of the ACS-CSIO international student chapter’s website. This platform will serve as a hub for aspiring scientists and researchers, offering valuable resources, engaging discussions, and networking opportunities to facilitate meaningful global collaborations.
