Basant Panchmi Celebrated at Aryans Group

Chandigarh sunita shastri:Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura today celebrated Basant Panchmi with full vivacity and festivity at its campus. The College was decorated with yellow rangoli. Everyone wore yellow clothes and Yellow sweets were also distributed among all present on this occasion. The students participated in various online completion including kite flying, fancy dress etc organized on this day. They showcased the vibrant tradition of Punjab depicting the spirit of inner freedom, creative pride and zest for life.It is to be mentioned that according to the Hindu calendar, Basant Panchami festival falls on the fifth day (Panchami) of the Hindu month of Magha. The festival is usually considered to mark the onset of spring in India.
