NSS and department cum Centre for women studies and development Panjab University Chandigarh in collaboration with satyarthi Kailash satyarthi children’s Foundation organised a special lecture on child marriage free India by honorable professor Pam Rajput .Dr Manish Sharma from department of Gandhian and peace studies welcomed the chief guest and other dignitaries. Dr. Sharma shared the concept note of the event on child marriage free India and how the program has started in five states an initiative by the Kailash Satyarthi foundation through Bachpan Bachao Andolan. Mr Puneet representative of the Kailash satyarthi organisation also addressed the audience on this issue.
