University School of Open Learning, Panjab University organised a discussion on the sacred occasion of Janma Diwas of Amar Balidani Bhagat Singh ji on 28.9.2022. Faculty members, research scholars and students of various departments participated enthusiastically in the event. Poems were recited, history of Bhagat Singh ji’s struggle was discussed, stories were being shared, general thoughts, opinion, views were shared by the participants to celebrate the special day. USOL Chairperson Prof. Neeru also enlightened participants about the contributions of Shahid Bhagat Singh towards India’s freedom and discussion ended on warm note remembering our hero ‘Bhagat Singh Ji’. Prof. Madhurima Verma, Prof. Harsh Gandhar, Prof. Supreet Kaur, Dr. Kuljeet Kaur, Dr. Parveen Kumar, Dr. Rajesh Kumar Jaiswal, Dr. Purva Mishra, Sh. Harmail Singh spoke about different aspects of the personality of Amar Balidani Bhagat Singh ji. The event was organised by Dr. Reena Chaudhary, Convener, Students Support Committee and Dr. Ravinder Kaur, Convener, IT Committee USOL.
