Union Budget 2026: Chandigarh showcases the Vision of Viksit Bharat @2047 with Collective Budget Viewing alongside Experts

The 80th Union Budget of independent India will be presented in Parliament by the Hon’ble Union Finance Minister on 1 February 2026. Under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the tradition of budget presentation has witnessed a historic transformation. Today, the budget is no longer limited to income–expenditure figures or RBI data; rather, it has emerged as a powerful instrument to achieve the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047.
Under the able guidance of National President Nitin Navin, a nationwide “Budget Outreach Campaign 2026” will be conducted from 1 February 2026 to 15 February 2026. Through this campaign, extensive outreach activities will be organized at the grassroots level as well as through digital platforms to publicize the key features, welfare initiatives, and long-term policy decisions of the Union Budget 2026, ensuring its message reaches every section of society.
Over the past 12 years, the Union Budget has evolved into a comprehensive policy statement, visionary and inspiring in nature, dedicated to nation-building. Its primary focus has been on poverty alleviation, strengthening infrastructure, promoting economic self-reliance, generating employment opportunities, and improving the quality of life of the last person standing in the social queue.
Regarding the Union Budget to be presented on 1 February 2026, the Bharatiya Janata Party Chandigarh Pradesh will organize collective budget viewing programs at the Pradesh, District, and Mandal levels. The program will witness participation from the Mayor, Councillors, and experts from various fields including Chartered Accountants, Civil Engineers, Industrialists, Advocates, intellectuals, and Economists, who will jointly view and analyze the budget in detail.
The primary objective of this initiative is to enable experts from every sector to conduct an in-depth analysis of the budget and effectively communicate its key provisions, benefits, and long-term impact to the masses in a simple and accessible manner.
Through this collective budget viewing program at the BJP Chandigarh Pradesh Office, a clear message will be conveyed that the Union Budget is not merely a government document, but a strong foundation for the nation’s bright future and the resolve of a Viksit Bharat, where participation and understanding of every section of society is essential.
