(Replacement of COVID Vaccines with Private Hospitals in UT Chandigarh)
During a review of the ongoing vaccination, it was observed that about 5000 doses of COVISHILED are available with the Private Hospitals/Nursing Homes in the city. Considering present pace of vaccination at the Private Hospitals, it is unlikely that these can be utilized before its expiry dates in two/three months.
To avoid any wastage of the precious vaccine, it has been decided to replace these vaccines with the fresh stock available with the UT Administration and thereafter the doses nearer to expiry dates will be utilized on priority. Here it is clarified that this exchange of vaccines will not have any financial implications either for the UT Administration or for the Private Health Facilities
