Raju Singh began his career in the music industry as a music composer and producer in 1987 with the song “Kudi Garam Jayi” from the album “I Love Golden Star” by Malkit Singh and Tarlochan Singh Bilga. Charanjit Singh gained further recognition in the 21st century for his 1983 album Synthesizing: Ten Ragas to a Disco Beat which blended traditional Indian classical music with disco beats and prominently featured the Roland Jupiter-8, Roland TB-303 and Roland TR-808 The album was re-released in 2010 on the Bombay Connection label and garnered retrospective acclaim, leading to Charanjit Singh being hailed as a pioneer of Acid house Music.

 

Raju Singh pursued a career in music, following in the footsteps of his father. He collaborated with numerous renowned music directors in the Indian film industry, including Kalyanji Anandji, R.D. Burman, Laxmikant Pyarelal, Anu Malik, Nadeem-Shravan, Raam Laxman, Uttam Singh, Anand Milind, and many others.
