Issue of City’s Security Raised Before the Administrator
BJP Delegation Presented Citizens’ Concerns Before the Administrator
Administrator Assured Resolution of the Issues

Chandigarh, July 16 —
The issues faced by the people of the city were raised on Wednesday by a BJP delegation before Administrator Gulab Chand Kataria. Concerns ranging from city security arrangements to necessary modifications in Housing Board houses and conversion of leasehold properties to freehold were presented before the Administrator. The BJP delegation also demanded improvements in the city’s public transport system. BJP Chandigarh State President Jitendra Pal Malhotra paid a courtesy visit to Administrator Gulab Chand Kataria at Punjab Raj Bhavan today and apprised him of public needs and difficulties.

He was accompanied by BJP Chandigarh In-charge and Ghaziabad MP Atul Garg and State General Secretary (Organization) Manthri Shrinivasulu. During the meeting, the delegation had an elaborate discussion with the Hon’ble Administrator regarding various problems faced by Chandigarh residents. Key discussion points included issues like drinking water scarcity, the quality of government education, and pressing matters related to the Chandigarh Housing Board.

The delegation specifically highlighted the difficulties faced by Housing Board residents—such as repair issues, ownership rights, rising fees, and administrative complexities. They urged that permanent solutions be ensured for these problems to provide relief to the common people.

The Hon’ble Administrator Gulab Chand Kataria attentively listened to the concerns raised by the BJP representatives and assured prompt administrative action on all these matters. He emphasized that protecting citizens’ interests and enhancing public facilities remain his top priority.

BJP State President Jitendra Pal Malhotra stated that the party always prioritizes public welfare issues and will continue working with the administration to make Chandigarh an ideal, convenient, and prosperous city.
