The coming together of the Aam Aadmi Party and Congress once again clearly exposes their hunger for power. For the sake of the chair, both parties are willing to cross every democratic and moral boundary. The incident in Chandigarh where a woman was picked up from her home is not just an administrative action but a direct assault on women’s dignity, democracy, and constitutional values.
BJP State General Secretary Sanjeev Rana said that the nation has not forgotten the dark chapter when Indira Gandhi imposed the Emergency to safeguard her power. The same authoritarian mindset of Congress is now visible in its alliance with the Aam Aadmi Party.
He stated that the opportunistic AAP–Congress alliance is a serious threat to women’s safety, civil liberties, and democratic institutions. Both parties are misusing power and state machinery to suppress opposition voices.
Sanjeev Rana asserted that the Bharatiya Janata Party stands firmly for the protection of democracy, the Constitution, and the dignity of women, and will strongly oppose this anti-democratic and authoritarian alliance at every level.
